==================================================================
Here you set up your Church funds. For practical purposes you can
create an unlimited number of funds limited only by your Hard Disk
size. To begin with "Fund Table Maintenance"; select "Funds
Table" from the "Stewardship" menu, and press <Enter>. The "Funds
Table" screen will appear, and the first time you use CMS-Gold it
may look like this:
=============================
| Funds Table |
=============================
|Code | Description |

|GENERALFND| General Fund |

=============================
CMS-Gold comes with one fund, the "General Fund" predefined. You
don't have to use this fund, but serves as an example. Let us
take a look at the options available from the "Options" menu at
the bottom of the screen.
Help
----
Notice the <?>-Help option on the left side of your "Options"
menu. Press the <?> key now and you will see a "Help" window
appear. It explains all the options available to maintain the
funds table. Use the <PgDn> and <PgUp> keys to see the next or
previous "Help" screen. To exit "Help" press <Esc> and the "Help"
window will disappear again.
Note: The <F> option is not available here. All other options
presented in the options menu, except the <Enter>-Choices option,
will act on all the funds in the list. The choices presented
after selecting the <Enter> -Choices option will act on the
preselected fund only.
Add a New Fund
--------------
To set up a new fund follow these steps; press <A> at the "Funds
Table" screen, and the "Add a New Fund" screen will appear. Here
you enter all the information about the new fund. Fill in all the
blanks. Begin with the first blank where the cursor appears and
fill in the required information.
Fund Code: Type in a brief name for the fund (up to 10 characters
long) that you can easily remember and that distinguishes it from
other fund codes. Duplicate fund codes will not be allowed.
Press <Enter> when done.

long) or give a longer description of this fund.
Press <PgDn> when done.
You will be returned to the "Funds Table" screen. The new fund
will now appear in the fund list.
Reports on Funds
----------------
Here you generate a list of all funds. Report output can be viewed
on the screen, printed on your printer, or written to a file. To
generate a fund report; press <R> from the "Fund Table" screen.
The alternate "Report Output" window will appear. Make your
output selection and generate the report. Once the report has
been generated you will be returned to the "Funds Table" screen.
Edit a Fund
-----------
Here you change the name or description for a particular fund. To
change the information about a fund; select the fund you want to
work with. Press <Enter> on the "Options" menu to get to the
"Choices" menu. Press <E> to select "Edit Fund", and press
<Enter>. The "Edit Fund" screen will appear, and the cursor will
be positioned at the "Fund Code:" field. Use the <Up> and <Dn>
cursor keys, or the <Tab> and <Shift-Tab> keys to move the cursor
to the field where you want to make changes or add new
information. The fields available for change are "Fund Code" and
"Fund Description". Type in the new information where you want it
to appear in that field.
If at any time you want to abandon the changes you have made,
press <Esc>, and all the previous information will be restored,
and you will be returned to the previous screen. Press <PgDn>
when you are done with all the changes for this fund. You will be
returned to the "Funds Table" screen and the changed information
will appear there.
Delete a Fund
-------------
Just as funds can be added to the fund list they also can be
removed. For example, you discovered after you entered a fund,
that you created a duplicate entry. Or a fund has been withdrawn
and you want to update your records. To delete a fund; select the
fund you want to remove. Press <Enter> to get to the "Choices"
menu. Press <D> to select "Delete Fund", and press <Enter>. To
prevent you from inadvertently making a mistake and remove the
wrong fund a window will be displayed:
